Typeblock updates ✨✨✨

Hi guys,

Got some exciting updates that we’ve been working on at Typeblock. Additionally there have been some recent new advances in AI that I would love to tell you about at the bottom of this email, but first let’s talk about Typeblock updates.

Chaining Prompts + GPT-4

You can now chain multiple prompts together and use the output of one prompt in the next prompt. Additionally you can choose between GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 for each prompt. Here is a video demo of how to chain prompts.

Custom Styling

You can now add custom styling to each of your apps. Just click on the Styling icon to open up the styles panel. Be sure to hit the Save button to save your styles.

Build Unlimited Apps

You can now build unlimited apps and share them with the world. We will be iterating on this feature to provide better UI, analytics, and monetization.

Internet Access + PDFs coming soon

This week we will be adding support for internet access and file uploads so that you can integrate data from the web, CSV, and PDF into your applications. As always if you have feature requests or feedback feel free to reach out to me.

Okay so now that we’ve covered Typeblock updates I want to touch on some advances in the field of AI that I think are really exciting.

Advances in AI

BREAKING NEWS. OpenAI has extended the context window to 16k tokens and implemented the ability to call external APIs in prompts. Meaning that the prompts can be longer and they can access any 3rd party tool you give it access to. We will be incorporating this into Typeblock ASAP. This opens up an endless amount of possibilities. Read the blog post from OpenAI here.
